Today, a new 4-meter-tall gold statue dedicated to Changpeng CZ Zhao, founder of Binance, will be unveiled in Washington DC. It is a tribute to the former CEO of the crypto-exchange after he received a pardon directly from the President of the USA, Donald Trump.

In practice, it seems that today Tuesday, October 28, the 4-meter-tall statue will be displayed for a few hours outside the United States Capitol. After that moment, the statue will be offered to Zhao as a gift or auctioned off to benefit the Giggle Academy.

According to what has been reported, an organizer states that the gold-painted statue will depict the iconic gesture of CZ.
This is the richest man in the crypto world showing four fingers of one hand, referring to his 2023 goal of ignoring fear, uncertainty, and doubt (aka “FUD”) in a context of increased regulatory scrutiny.

The display in front of the US Capitol of the new statue of CZ is meant to recall the recent statue of President Trump holding a Bitcoin.
This reference to Trump is not coincidental.. In fact, Trump is the one who last week granted a pardon to Zhao, regarding the previous conviction for violations related to money laundering.
CZ had been convicted in 2023 and served a four-month prison sentence, finding himself at the center of a major lawsuit initiated by the regulatory bodies of the USA.
It should also be considered that Trump made his decision to grant clemency to CZ, even after the former CEO of Binance has engaged in intense activities in recent months to support the Trump family’s crypto company.
In any case, the creators of the statue for CZ wanted this grace to be “physical” as well, through their tribute. Moreover, anonymous donors have stated that they have raised funds to pay tribute today to the founder of Binance Changpeng “CZ” Zhao in Washington, D.C.
The price of BNB
With the news of CZ, in the last 24 hours, BNB is not experiencing strong price surges. On the contrary, in the last seven days, BNB is in a price pump of +5%.
