The crypto-exchange OKX has announced the enhancement of its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 Team. 

Among the new features of 2024, the OKX logo will also be present on the side pods of the McLaren F1 car livery for 20 races of the season.

OKX has announced the enhancement of its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 Team in 2024.

“We are excited to continue our collaboration with @McLarenF1 in 2024! Take a look at the elegant updates to our brand Official position of the side pods, Rear wing and mirrors; Drivers’ helmets and team kits. Our drive for innovation continues at full speed with McLaren!”

Among the news, the OKX logo will be featured on the side panels of the new livery of the race cars for 20 races, as well as other placements. 

This new livery of the McLaren for 2024 was announced on January 16th and is inspired by the “Stealth Mode” livery designed jointly by OKX and McLaren, presented in September 2023. 

The extension of the partnership between OKX and the McLaren Formula 1 team aims to strengthen the connection between the dynamic worlds of Web3 and blockchain with elite motorsport. The goal is to leverage technology to bring fans and speed enthusiasts closer together.

Regarding this enhanced partnership between OKX and McLaren, Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer of OKX, stated:

“We are excited to be part of the new McLaren F1 Team campaign ‘Whatever It Takes’. We love the spirit with which McLaren is approaching the 2024 season and we are thrilled to see that elements of our co-designed livery in Singapore have been integrated into this year’s design. It looks like this will be a special year for McLaren and an epic year for our partnership.”

The CEO of McLaren Racing, Zak Brown, has also made his comments:

The inauguration with the Miami Grand Prix 2022

It was May 2022, when OKX and McLaren Racing started their partnership, officially announcing it during the Miami Grand Prix 2022.

Already at that moment, the crypto-exchange and the Formula 1 Team had the goal of working together to expand both brands, bringing a new paradigm related to fan experience to the market. 

Not only that, the two entities have joined forces with the common goal of bringing “innovation” to their respective areas, projecting together the world of investments and racing.
