Ripple and the YouTube channel of the Indian Supreme Court under hack attack: videos broadcast to promote XRP

According to reports, it seems that the channel YouTube of the Indian Supreme Court has come under attack.

“The YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India has been breached and is showing videos of the US company Ripple.”

And in fact, for a few hours, instead of broadcasting the important hearings of the judicial cases, videos promoting Ripple Labs and the crypto XRP were broadcast.

Specifically, on the channel of the judicial body of India, a video titled: “Brad Garlinghouse: Ripple Responds To The SEC’s $2 Billion Fine! XRP PRICE PREDICTION” was broadcast.

Not only that, the hacker would have also changed the name of the attacked YouTube channel, inserting “Ripple.live24”.

Ripple(XRP) and the immediate closure of the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India hacked

Immediately after the breach, both the video on Ripple (XRP) and the channel of the Supreme Court of India were promptly removed from YouTube.

The judicial body of India has therefore preferred to close its hacked YouTube channel, after the hacker allegedly used it to broadcast videos promoting Ripple (XRP).

In this regard, the Supreme Court would have declared:

“It is communicated to all interested parties that the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India has been closed. Services on the YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India will resume shortly”

The present news is circulating on X, to the point that even Brad Garlinghouse himself, CEO of Ripple, wanted to share his thoughts:

“Unfortunately, this seems to be my annual PSA (and yes, I sound like a broken record): @Ripple and the executives will NEVER ask you to send us XRP. It is pathetic to see scammers exploiting innocent cryptocurrency users and the ease with which social media platforms allow this to happen. Stop, identify, avoid – protect yourselves”

The optimism of the crypto company for 2025

At the beginning of September, Ripple shared in a series of tweets its important announcements regarding the present and its future.

Among other points, the one concerning the introduction of new native smart contracts on XRP Ledger Mainnet in 2025, compatible with Ethereum.

This “new entry” will lead the company to implement an expansion plan for programmability for the XRP Ledger. In fact, this move will provide builders, entrepreneurs, and users with further customization for a variety of use cases, thus accelerating innovation, attracting developers who want to leverage the new capabilities of XRPL.

The new points listed by Ripple, optimistic for 2025, can now be achieved mainly thanks to what has happened recently: the end of the lawsuit against the SEC of the USA.

And indeed, after 4 years of torment and regulatory persecution, Ripple can now be said to be a more free crypto company to act.
