The partnership between Uniswap Labs and Ledger marks an important step forward for the simplification and security of cryptocurrency transactions

The integration allows users to exchange tokens directly on Ledger Live, the official application of Ledger, without having to leave the platform.

This collaboration combines the power of the largest decentralized exchange with the security of market-leading hardware wallets, offering users a unique and intuitive experience.

Uniswap on Ledger Live: how it works

Thanks to the Uniswap trading API, now integrated into Ledger Live, users can perform token swaps on the Ethereum network easily and securely. This means, for example, that it is possible to swap Ether (ETH) for stablecoins or other ERC-20 tokens directly from the Ledger application, keeping their assets safe in hardware wallets.

The firma chiara is one of the most innovative aspects of this integration. This feature allows users to view transaction details in a human-readable format, eliminating any uncertainty and increasing the level of security. As Ian Rogers, Chief Experience Officer of Ledger, emphasized:

“The clear signature is the only safe way in which users should authorize transactions.”

Both partners share the goal of improving the user experience in the cryptocurrency sector. Uniswap, the largest decentralized exchange in the world, has processed over 2.5 trillion dollars in transactions without ever experiencing a breach. Ledger, with more than 7 million devices sold, manages over 20% of global cryptographic assets, confirming itself as a reference point for security in the sector.

Mary-Catherine Lader, COO di Uniswap Labs, stated:

“Our mission is to unlock value through universal exchange. We are working with Ledger to simplify the user experience with self-custody, bringing the power of innovation from both teams to more people.”

For its part, Ledger presents itself as the definitive solution for the management and protection of digital assets. Ian Rogers emphasized that:

“Now, with Uniswap, users can earn yield, secure their access, buy, send, and exchange their digital assets, all directly on Ledger Live.”

Security and simplicity: the advantages for users

The combination of Uniswap and Ledger addresses two of the main needs of cryptocurrency users: security and ease of use.

  • Advanced security: exchanges occur directly on Ledger Live, eliminating the risk of exposure to non-secure platforms.
  • Simplified experience: it is not necessary to use multiple platforms or transfer assets between different wallets, reducing the risk of errors or losses.
  • Total control: the self-custody guaranteed by Ledger wallets offers users full control over their assets.

The integration between Ledger and Uniswap represents a significant evolution for the bull sector of cryptocurrencies.

Bringing the power of decentralized exchange directly within a secure application like Ledger Live, this partnership could attract new users to decentralized trading, while simultaneously promoting greater awareness of digital security.

With an approach focused on user protection and innovation, Uniswap and Ledger are redefining industry standards, making cryptocurrency trading safer, simpler, and more accessible to an increasingly wide audience.
